Amy Schumer is so awesome that she knows when to admit she was wrong!
Thanks to the HIGHlarious comedian’s fame skyrocketing recently, media outlets have been doing some digging to find controversial jokes the funny lady has made in the past.
One such joke has been gaining some traction as racially offensive. The 34-year-old once delivered a one-liner that went:
“I used to date Hispanic guys, but now I prefer consensual.”
The Trainwreck actress has been getting some crap for cracking a joke that came off as culturally offensive.
But rather than defend her decision to make a quip at the expense of the Hispanic community, Amy took to Twitter on Monday to apologize for her words!
Ch-ch-check out her perfect response (below)!
We love that Amy took responsibility for saying something that could come across as offensive — unlike certain presidential candidates we know — and for taking all this criticism in stride!
