Ryan Murphy Reveals The Future Plans For Scream Queens & More At Comic-Con!

Ryan Murphy had double the fun at Comic-Con during Sunday’s mega-panel of American Horror Story: Hotel and Scream Queens!

Joined by the casts of both shows, the 49-year-old dished on the fifth season of AHS along with his highly anticipated horror-comedy series!

First, the producer revealed who would be playing villains on Hotel. Looking at Angela Bassett, Matt Bomer, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates, Murphy explained:

“Everybody on this side of the table are bad boys and girls this time.”

The panel also discussed character names — Bomer will play Donovan, Peters is Mr. March, Paulson revealed she is Hypodermic Sally and Bates is Iris.

Murphy also revealed that cast member Lady GaGa requested to play an “evil” character, before teasing about the fifth season:

“Things are connected. This season, you’ll see more and more and more of that. Characters from previous seasons will come check into the hotel.”

As for Scream Queens, Murphy promised that the killer is in the premiere episode (a comment that even shocked the cast, who still doesn’t know the killer’s identity!)

Jamie Lee Curtis dished that there would be a moment in the Fox series which pays homage to Halloween! The original scream queen gushed about the show’s quality of writing, saying:

“For somebody who spent her life in horror films that honestly weren’t written well, it’s an honor.”

While AHS and Scream Queens are both anthology series, Murphy explained that they still have different formats:

“The thing with Horror Story is every year, there’s a new story, there’s a new theme and the actors play different characters├óΓé¼┬ª [ For Scream Queens] there are survivors that go on to a different location and the characters that you have grown to love, many of them will go on to the next season ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and many will not.”

We can wait for both shows to premiere this fall!
