If you have ever once in your life urinated, you are completely doing it wrong.
So says Gwyneth Paltrow!
In a recent article posted on her lifestyle website GOOP, the 42-year-old relies on the help of “fascia and structural integrative specialist” Lauren Roxburgh to teach readers how to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.
According to the specialist:
“Adore your pelvic floor├óΓé¼┬ª It’s the key to great sex, a flat tummy, and the key to never laying in a supply of Depends.”
Who ever would’ve thought!
But just exactly how can you make such body parts stronger?!
By peeing better!
The medical author suggests:
“Try peeing in the shower squatting down├óΓé¼┬ª When you squat to pee as opposed to sitting up straight on the toilet, you automatically engage your pelvic floor and it naturally stretches and tones.”
Our minds are totally blown!
The publication then goes on to describe why you should go potty in such a manner!
“Because your urethra is pointed straight down in this position all you have to do is relax for urine to flow out easily – as opposed to sitting up straight and having to strain to empty your bladder├óΓé¼┬ª It’s important to activate the muscles that you use [to] cut your pee off mid-stream. To do this, contract, pull up, and hold.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time The Royal Tenenbaums star has promoted bizarre advice.
As we reported, a previous GOOP article told followers how to correctly yawn!
Gwyneth should be the leader of our (uri)nation!
