What devastating news for the loved ones of MH370’s passengers!
On Wednesday, officials confirmed what we suspected all along — that the Malaysian jetliner carrying 239 souls crashed somewhere over the Indian ocean when it first disappeared in March of last year.
Last week, a piece of debris now confirmed to be that of the jetliner washed up on Reunion Island, a very small and remote territory belonging to France. While some conspiracy theorists thought the plane was stolen for future terroristic purposes, it appears this is NOT the case.
Though this piece of wreckage is an additional clue to finding the plane, experts argue that it will be extremely difficult considering the span of the Indian Ocean AND the natural drift process caused by currents.
Either way, this sad confirmation should provide some relief to the families of MH370, who’ve been desperate for answers all this time.
Our hearts go out to those affected by this tragedy.
