Miles Teller isn’t afraid to tell it like it is!
The up-and-comer appeared on the cover of Esquire magazine’s September issue for a very candid interview with the publication — who labeled him a d*ck for most of the piece. Yikes!
The Fantastic Four actor took to Twitter to criticize the magazine for their inaccurate portrayal of himself.
Well said! It appears that Esquire painted the Whiplash performer’s blunt answers as an act of “d*ckishness”
In the piece, he shared:
“I was thinking about that today, how I probably think I’m better-looking than the public thinks I am. I was in one of these forums about a film I did, and it’s like, ‘This dude is so ugly! How does he get f├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥king parts?’ ‘Well, he’s not, like, traditionally handsome, but├óΓé¼┬ª’ And that’s kind of what it is. Maybe it’s because I came from a small town, but I always did well for myself.”
Well they do say confidence is key! We’re impressed by the candor displayed by the Insurgent star. In fact, Miles revealed in the article that he was a huge stoner in college.
“I used to get this milk tea in college at the Asian market M2M when I was high. It was five bucks. Me and my buddies prided ourselves. We were like, ‘Nobody smokes this much pot. I guarantee you can ask anyone in this dorm, man├óΓé¼┬ªwe smoke a lot.’ I didn’t do a single play when I was in college, because all I wanted to do was smoke pot. I did zero extracurricular activities so I could get high. I stopped when I started doing movies and went to L.A. because I was like, I can’t get a phone call and not answer it.”
LOLz! Remember kiddies, drugs are bad m’kay?
Nonetheless, the 28-year-old’s shade at the men’s mag doesn’t necessarily shock us as he doesn’t think too highly of censoring himself.
When asked about a recent video where he it appeared that he was under the influence at music festival in Napa Valley — Miles was not afraid to share his disdain for the paparazzi.
“I don’t give a s├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥t. I can either censor myself or not, and you’re always trying to figure it out. It’s how you deal with the paparazzi.
Do you not do what you would do? Do you live your life with all these filters and censors because everyone has a camera? Or do you f├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥king dance how you would dance and have people say, ‘Oh, he’s on drugs’? I was drinking. And was at a f├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥king Brett Dennen f├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥king concert.”
Oof! We doubt the heartthrob realized how brutally these comments would backfire in his face. But hey, it happens to the best A-listers — right, Cara Delevingne?! WE KID.
What do U think of Miles’ magazine debacle?!
