This is so heartwarming!!

A days-old puppy was rescued in Phoenix, Arizona late Thursday night from a drainage pipe after it had been trapped inside of it for ten hours!

The puppy, part of a litter of dogs that had been roaming around a yard at a home where police were serving a drug-related search warrant, was found in the pipe after the cops noticed two of its siblings dead, and two others in good health with their mother.

A plumbing company was called in addition to the Arizona Humane Society, and the plumbers eventually sent a small camera down the pipe, finding the puppy 23 feet deep!!

After nearly twelve hours on the job, though, the pup was rescued, and AHS spokeswoman Bretta Nelson was relieved at the very unique case:

“In my five years at AHS, this is the longest rescue I have heard of and we respond to more than 10,000 cases per year.”

Kudos to those plumbers and animal lovers who spent so much time rescuing the little guy!

Ch-ch-check out the heartwarming video (below):

The pup was taken to an emergency animal clinic for care, and will be monitored as he grows up — hopefully, finding a good home and never again having to worry about being stuck in a situation like this one!
