Anna Duggar‘s brother is standing firmly by her side after it became revealed that her husband Josh Duggar had an Ashley Madison account.
But when Josh’s younger sister Jessa — who was one of the victims of his molestation scandal — posted a photo of a Bible verse about being forgiven after confessing your sins, Anna’s brother, Daniel Keller, couldn’t stay silent on the subject.
He commented on her Facebook post:
“You have to confess and forsake your sin to have mercy. Not sin confess and repeat.”
Naturally, this comment got hundreds of replies from social media users who had very polarizing opinions about whether they sympathize with Anna, or believe that Josh should be forgiven since, you know, he admitted he was wrong.
When one woman tried to fire back by calling Daniel a sinner — since every human ever is a sinner — he responded by revealing that she’s missing the point:
When another commenter brought up the Bible to defend Josh, Daniel made sure to highlight a key difference in the two situations:
And then someone else decided to say that he was in the wrong for even chiming in with his two cents in the first place:
But then he started getting some support, and spoke about how he would help her financially if it meant getting her away from Josh:
Though when other commenters encouraged this idea, he explained that his parents are playing a pretty big part in convincing Anna not to leave her husband:
He added that even though his parents aren’t on his side, he’s hellbent in getting his sister away from Josh:
But then when Daniel got some more backlash about putting Anna’s personal life in the public eye — which is ironic, since Anna willingly had part of her life documented on a television show that broadcast to millions of people — he made sure to turn it back around on Josh:
Such strong words!
So whose side are U on, Perezcious readers??
