hillary clinton comments on shooting

This is so sad.

On Wednesday morning, journalist Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward were shot on camera by a disgruntled former employee of the news station WDBJ7.

We’re not shocked that this tragic story has inspired so many powerful people both in Hollywood and D.C. to speak out on this unfortunate incident.

In fact, Presidential candidate and Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to share her condolences to the victims’ family — as well as her thoughts on gun control.

She wrote:

As Hillary could easily become the leader of the free world in 2016, we’re inspired to see a politician taking such a staunch stance on gun control.

However the former Secretary of State was not alone in her opinions as many in Hollywood also took to the social media site to comment on this unspeakable tragedy — including Darren Criss, Ricky Gervais, and Sophia Bush.
