Oh no!

All parents make mistakes — even if you are country superstar Carrie Underwood!

In a recent interview, the blonde beauty opened up about that incident from back in July when she accidentally locked both her son Isaiah and her dogs inside a car. Yikes!

Now before you call social services, there was a perfectly understandable reason for why the whole situation occurred.

She explained:

“We were at the airport, the car was running, the radio was on, the air conditioning was on, our family kind of came to see us off. As you do, you get out of the front seat and you shut the door so you can turn around, so you can get your luggage out.”

Oh, yes — we’ve all been there.

She continued:

“Immediately, one of the dogs jumped up on the little control panel on the door, and I heard the thing click. I was like, ‘The doors locked, the doors locked, the doors locked!'”

So scary! Though, that honestly could’ve happened to anyone.

Since Miz Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher didn’t have spare keys with them they had to think of an outside-of-the-box car solution.

She noted:

“We were trying to jimmy open the car door. Nobody had a hanger. I was trying to get the dogs to come back over and do the same thing and unlock the door.”

Wow! That was fast thinking.

Unfortunately, the Before He Cheats singer’s brother-in-law eventually had to break in the window to rescue the little ones.

After the dramatic situation, the starlet took to Twitter and posted:

Whomp, whomp.

We totally feel for Carrie’s car drama and hopefully she’ll never have to go through it again!

Fingers crossed.
