Idris Elba Has The Perfect Response To Being Called ‘Too Street’ For 007 — As James Bond Author Quickly Apologizes!

Earlier this week, British novelist Anthony Horowitz revealed his unpopular casting opinions about who should play James Bond after Daniel Craig leaves the series!

The author of the upcoming 007 novel Trigger Mortis said that top contender Idris Elba was “too street” and not “suave” enough to play the famous spy!

After receiving a ton of backlash, some of which accused the 60-year-old’s words to be racially loaded, Horowitz issued an apology, posting on his Twitter:

While not everyone is going to accept the author’s apology, Elba himself responded to the controversy the classiest way possible! He shared on Instagram:
