Taylor Swift knows a thing or two about topping the charts.
The Wildest Dreams singer took the no. 1 spot on Vanity Fair‘s “Powers That Be” list, due to her strong media presence and victory over Apple Music! The magazine wrote:
“Swift isn’t merely the world’s favorite pop star, putting up sales numbers that are nearly unfathomable in the post-Napster age├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥she is also using her platform to make giant companies conform to her will.”
Ranking at the number 2 spot is Disney‘s Chief Bob Iger, who is making Mickey Mouse VERY happy after aquiring Pixar, Marvel, and LucasFilms — and is who we can thank for the upcoming Star Wars movies!
Athlete/Trainwreck scene stealer LeBron James ranked at no. 6, and Star Trek/Star Wars: The Force Awakens filmmaker J.J. Abrams came in at no. 7.
That’s a lot of power players! Check out the full list HERE to see the other powers that be!
