British Man To Spend Four Months In Prison After Calling Emergency Services Pretending To Be Nicki Minaj!

Prosecutors say he abused the 999 emergency service!

Miley Dude, whaaaaaaat’s good?

For those of you also confused by this headline, let us break it down for you. A British man named Stephen Brown has been thrown in jail for four months after repeatedly calling the 9-9-9 emergency phone system in England without actually having an emergency.

The incident in question took place on Christmas last year, when the 24-year-old made two calls — within five minutes of each other — to emergency responders while heavily intoxicated.

In the first call, he reported he was receiving death threats, but couldn’t provide any more information beyond that because he was too drunk.

In the second, he declared he wanted to cancel his first call, professed that he was Nicki Minaj, and also there was a ghost in his house.

And this wasn’t even the first time he’s gotten in trouble for dialing 9-9-9 without having an emergency. He had been previously given an Anti-Social Behaviour Order, which banned him from calling the service for no reason.

But after he rang responders on Christmas, he was arrested for violating that order. At the time, he was released on bail but was banned from dialing 9-9-9 — with the exception of an actual emergency — as well as having and drinking alcohol.

Stephen was initially sentenced to eight months, but his defense attorney has now successfully appealed the length, getting it reduced down to four months.

Crazy stuff, Perezcious readers!
