Progress is being made in the case of the Arizona highway sniper shootings — but authorities aren’t quite there yet!
On Saturday evening, three teenagers were arrested along Arizona State Route 24 — not Interstate 10, the highway where most of the shootings have taken place — according to authorities.
According to police reports, the three teens were using a slingshot to shoot rocks at pedestrians and cars along the state highway. One couple, whose car window was shattered by the three teenagers, took note of the kids’ license plate and the police picked them up immediately.
Really smart move, kids…
Considering law enforcement has called the real sniper shootings “domestic terrorism,” the fact that Arizona authorities now have who they believe to be a copycat in custody tells us the cops aren’t going to go easy on these three half-wits.
As for the actual shooter(s) on Interstate 10, police still don’t know who’s behind the scary string of terror.
