Aw, proud momma!
Actress and author Pamela Anderson opened up on the TODAY show Monday morning about raising her two teenage sons, Brandon and Dylan. The 48-year-old just released her new book Raw, which includes journal entries, poetry, and a glimpse into her life as a mother.
“Tommy Lee and I have raised very grounded and interesting sons out of the spotlight — shielding them from the craziness of Hollywood and fiercely protecting their childhood.”
We respect that!
Obviously, having famous parents isn’t always easy, but Pam wanted her kids to have as normal experience as possible growing up. She shared:
“They have to make their own choices for the rest of their lives. And it wouldn’t be their own choice if we were dragging them down red carpets.”
It wasn’t until a recent movie premiere that the world was officially introduced to the Baywatch star’s 19-year-old son Brandon, who was previously connected to actress Bella Thorne at the beginning of this year. In an effort to keep her baby boys grounded, she advises:
“You’re gorgeous, you’re talented, now let’s work on the humbleness and education.”
We’ve gotta say, this is very refreshing after we see so many young people get wrapped up with fame way too early! You go, Pam!
