Hugh Jackman won’t be playing the iconic Marvel character much longer!
After Wolverine 3 is finished, that’s a wrap for the actor’s run as the clawed crusader. But, since the his 15-year superhero stint hasn’t quite finished, the 46-year-old says he hasn’t considered who would serve as his successor:
“I haven’t really given it a lot of thought. I’ve been asked that question a lot, and I’m always like, ‘I don’t wanna make it too easy on the studio to replace me,’ you know? I’ve still got one more to do. I’m sure they’re already talking about it, and there’s some actor [they’ve told] ‘shh, keep it quiet but we want you next.'”
Because the studio has been very hush-hush about the man they’re grooming for the role, the least the Pan star could do was offer up his prime pick!
So, who has Hugh’s seal of approval?
The Australian native opened up about just why he thinks the Mad Max: Fury Road star would shine:
“He’s younger than me for sure. I think Tom Hardy would be a great Wolverine.”
There you have it, folks. Straight from the
wolf’s horse’s mouth!
