Candace Cameron Bure Compares Online Haters To Rape On The View & Conveniently Misses The Next Episode — Details HERE

Uhm, what?

We all know that the women on The View make quite a few controversial comments and Wednesday was no different!

The women got into a discussion about Lena Dunham‘s most recent social media trouble in which the Girls star accused Twitter trolls of “verbal violence.”

Whoopi Goldberg addressed the controversy saying:

“The minute you put yourself out there, in somebody’s underwear ├óΓé¼┬ª you can’t be surprised.”

Raven-Symoné countered saying

“At the same time, people on Twitter need to keep their mouths respectful, because they come hard at people.”

But the shock came when Candace Cameron Bure chimed in saying:

“I’ve never been more verbally abused in my life than on Twitter, and specifically in the last few months, having come on this show… But you don’t have to verbally abuse me and rape me. That’s what they do to me on Twitter.”

Uhm, what?

We get online abuse and all that, but seriously, Candace just compared verbal abuse to rape?

There hasn’t been any word from Candace yet trying to clarify her statement or offer an apology as she’s conveniently left town and isn’t on the show today. Though it was for good reason as she had a Full House reunion at the San Francisco Giant’s ballpark last night!

We’ll DEFINITELY be waiting to hear what she has to say when she comes back!
