Jabba the Hut has some expensive taste!
Princess Leia’s slave bikini from Star Wars: Episode VI is one of the most iconic costumes in the history of cinema — and also one of the most expensive!
In the Profiles of History online auction on Friday, the sexy gold garment Carrie Fisher sported in Return of the Jedi sold for $96,000!
The auction featured several high-profile pieces of movie memorabilia, and the “Slave Leia” bikini was one of the most highly anticipated items in the event!
According to reports, bidding opened on Thursday at $80,000. In addition to the bikini, the winner scored the collar, several chain links, and a letter of authenticity by Industrial Light and Magic designer Richard Miller!
But this sexy little number wasn’t the top seller at the event! A miniature model of Leia’s “Blockade Runner” — the first spacecraft shown in the Star Wars series — sold for a record breaking $450,000!
Congrats to the winners — we hope some sexy roleplay is in their future!
As for Princess Leia herself, Fisher reprises her role when Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters December 18!
