Who doesn’t love these guys?!
We already knew about some of the projects that Disney and Pixar had in the pipeline due to their D23 Expo back in August.
But now we’re getting REALLY excited because we finally know when we can expect them!
In celebration of Disney studios crossing the $4 billion at the global box office — a feat they’ve accomplished for the fourth consecutive year — they’ve made some changes and updates to their film releases.
On the Pixar side of things, the studio announced that Cars 3 will be hitting theaters on June 16, 2017 and Incredibles 2 will be storming into theaters on June 21, 2019. The only somewhat bad news is that Toy Story 4 was bumped back a whole year from June 16, 2017 to June 15, 2018.
But hey, maybe that gives them more time to perfect it!
On top of the HIGHLY anticipated sequels, they also announced that the Pixar movie scheduled for November 22, 2017 is going to be Coco, and the Disney Animation movie that’s set to hit theaters March 6, 2018 is Gigantic!
Coco is based on the Day of the Dead and will explore the idea of a boy named Miguel meeting his long-dead Mexican family members!
Gigantic is a fun retelling of Jack the Giant Slayer — a tale Disney hasn’t tackled since 1947’s Mickey And The Beanstalk!
