Raven Symoné is ready to backtrack!

On Sunday, the former Disney darling took to Facebook to clarify her controversial statement about “ghetto names” she shared last week on The View.

ICYMI: Initially, Miz Symon├â┬⌐ quipped during the round table with her co-hosts that she wouldn’t hire other (in this context, black) women if their names sounded a certain way, saying:

“And I am very discriminatory against words like the ones that they were saying in the video. I’m not about to hire you if your name is Watermelondrea. It’s just not going to happen. I’m not going to hire you.”

Well, for starters, we respect that the daytime TV personality was able to step up and apologize for being in the wrong in this particular instance. Secondly, Raven was hacked?!

Way to bury the lead girl.

The hacking moment, we can only imagine the starlet is addressing, is the one that’s circulating on Twitter that claims the Cosby Show alum called herself “dark white.”
