Awww! This Poor Baseball Player’s Kid Gets Hit In The Face With Another Kid During An MLB Post-Game Celebration

no title

This is kind of tough to watch… but let’s be real, it’s also kind of funny!

The Kansas City Royals won a baseball series against the Houston Astros on Wednesday night, which means they get to advance to the next round of the MLB playoffs.

Yay! That’s a huge deal for their fans and the players! As is custom after important playoff games like this, the players’ wives, family members, and children came down to the field to celebrate — and that’s when viral Vine stardom was made!

A poor little kid — the child of Royals’ player Jason Vargas — was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time when Vargas’ teammate Jonny Gomes decided to celebrate the win by swinging another child around in a circle.

The kid swinging in the circle ran into the kid running towards the fun, and just… well… ch-ch-check out the madness from two different angles (below)!

The vids obviously aren’t long enough to see if the poor young thing got up under his own power, but poppa Vargas is a pretty tough guy, so we’re guessing he’ll be just fine.

Besides, he’s going to have a good story — and Internet documentation of it — when he gets old enough to appreciate it one day.

While many people in Kansas City may have quite the headache this morning for a very specific reason (*cough* hangover! *cough*), this kid will have his own badge of honor commemorating the game! LOLz!
