These are big stars, and this is BIG money!
Forbes figured out which YouTube stars are making the most money right now, and the top ten on this list are rakin’ in the dough!
Obviously most of the stars on this list are under 30-years-old, since YouTubers appeal so well to younger people. And as you probably guessed, most of the money they are making comes from things like sponsorships, product placement, advertisements, and commercials before every video.
But enough about business! Let’s get to the names. Here are the top ten (pre-tax) earners on YouTube:
1. PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg): $12 million
2 (tie). Smosh (Ian Hecox & Anthony Padilla): $8.5 million
and Fine Bros. (Benny & Rafi Fine): $8.5 million
4. Lindsey Stirling: $6 million
5. (tie) Rhett & Link: $4.5 million
and KSI (Olajide Olatunji): $4.5 million
7. Michelle Phan: $3 million
8. (tie) Lilly Singh: $2.5 million
and Roman Attwood: $2.5 million
and Rosanna Pansino: $2.5 million
After the list was released, PewDiePie reacted in PewDiePie fashion on Twitter:
‘YOU NEVER BELIEVE HOW MUCH DIS WACKY GAMER MAKES!’
