Eddie Murphy may have refused to impersonate Bill Cosby earlier this year on Saturday Night Live‘s 40th anniversary show — but we guess he changed his mind!

The comedy legend performed what was basically his first bit of stand-up in 28 years on Sunday when he was honored with the Kennedy Center‘s 18th annual Mark Twain Prize!

While accepting the humor award that Cosby won back in 2009, the 54-year-old quipped:

“Bill has one of these. Did you all make Bill give his back?”

The actor was referring to the alleged efforts by some to have Cosby return his award in the wake of his sexual assault allegations. Murphy continued:

“You know you f**cked up when they want you to give your trophies back.”

F**ked up is an understatement!

The Coming To America star then went into a full on Cosby impression that brought down the house! Watch the clip (below) to check it out around the 2:26 mark!
