The passing of a legend — so sad!
Maureen O’Hara, an actress most remembered for her work in major movies like Miracle On 34th Street and The Quiet Man, died on Saturday. She was 95 years old.
Family members have revealed that O’Hara, who was living in Idaho at the time, died of natural causes while surrounded by loved ones.
O’Hara was best known for her portrayal of the mother, Doris Walker, in 1947’s production of Miracle On 34th Street. In addition to her work there and in The Quiet Man, O’Hara also starred in multiple movies with legendary actor John Wayne.
She also received an honorary Oscar in 2014.
