Leah Messer isn’t losing hope yet!
After Leah lost custody of her twin girls to Corey Simms following a custody hearing on October 13, the Teen Mom 2 star opened up about how she’s dealing with the tragic blow.
While many insiders and fans see the move as the right decision given Messer’s rehab stint and her seemingly inability to parent, the reality star claims this is NOT the case.
The mom of three, who called the decision “a slap in the face,” argued that the girls’ tardies and absences from school were just a misunderstanding. The West Virginia native revealed:
“I talked to the superintendent and I’m sending them the time-stamped pictures I took to prove the girls were not tardy. They’re going to take them off.”
Hmm. Considering the hearing happened on October 19 and the school board refused to comment publicly, we’re not sure what exactly happened there…
Despite Leah’s hurt feelings, the blonde managed to maintain an upbeat attitude on the situation, confiding:
“I feel like they should have both of us in their lives. At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don’t care what I have to do to make them happy.”
Well, hopefully L.M. is ready to make the lifestyle changes necessary to get back custody of her girls. It’s clear something wasn’t working!
As for Corey, he and wife Miranda Simms are expecting their little girl Remi any day now so he’s sure to be busy!
