He sure loves to ride!
We all knew that Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead loved to ride motorcycles — well apparently the actor who plays him, Norman Reedus, does too!
Not only that but Reedus just got his own show greenlit by AMC!
Daryl’s Norman’s new show will be six one-hour episodes that follow the actor as he rides to different destination!
Similarly to Jerry Seinfeld‘s web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the WD actor will have a partner in crime each week described as a:
“riding companion ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ a fellow actor, musician, friend, or local chopper fanatic who shares his passion for motorcycles.”
The 46-year-old actor described his excitement for the announcement by saying:
“I’m incredibly excited and thankful to AMC for giving me the opportunity to share a passion of mine with our fans, and hopefully a whole new audience. I had a lot of fun filming and exploring, and I hope it shows.”
We don’t know what this means for Daryl’s future on TWD, but we really hope that because this series is only six episodes, it won’t mean the end for our favorite motorcycle, crossbow wielding zombie killer!
What do you think of the announcement? Are you excited to see Reedus hit the road on a hog, or are you content with him on the hit AMC show?
