This is awkward!
George W. Bush was leaving a dinner in Washington, D.C. on Thursday night when a reporter stopped him and asked him what he thought of Kanye West‘s announced upcoming presidential campaign for the 2020 election.
The former president, of course, was called out by Yeezy during a 2005 telethon for victims of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana and Mississippi, when the rapper famously went off script and said “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” on live television.
Well, the 43rd president has a long memory, because he reacted very strongly to the idea of a ‘Ye presidency: with laughter!
No quote, no speech, nothing — Bush never said a word. He just laughed twice when asked about the possibility of the Four Five Seconds rapper becoming a world leader, and then walked to his car.
Considering the history these two have (below), we guess this reaction just about makes sense though, doesn’t it??
How about U?! What do U think of a possible Kanye campaign in 2020??
