Long distance is hard — but Josh Hutcherson is a champ!

For his recent cover story for DuJour magazine, the Hunger Games actor dished a bit about his relationship with 22-year-old actress Claudia Traisac. And it seems the Hollywood hottie couldn’t be more dedicated to his lady love.

He shared:

“There’s a lot of traveling, a lot of Skype. I feel like I’m with you because I’m seeing you and we’re talking, but also you’re a f*cking screen. It’s very frustrating.”

Aww, poor thing! In case you forgot, the twosome met while filming the romantic thriller Escobar: Paradise Lost. Unfortunately, the Spanish starlet is currently filming a TV show overseas — hence the frustration. Bummer!

Still, it seems things are pretty good between the young couple.

He continued:

“It’s kind of cool. We’re doing this international thing. We’re young, we make it work.”

LOVES it! We’re so impressed with the way the 23-year-old’s handling this very mature relationship. In fact, it was back in September the pair were caught displaying some serious PDA in Madrid.

Though, hopefully with the end of the popular film franchise right around the corner the cutie will have some down time to visit with his main squeeze!

Especially since being in a big budget movie like the HG series means you get A LOT of fan attention.

On one fan encounter, he noted:

“I was shooting in Cincinnati and I woke up one morning to go to work. I walked to my car. And literally sitting on the ground sleeping front of my car — huddled up in hoodies and blankets — were two 12- or 13-year-old girls and their mom. They popped up like a f*cking Jack-in-the-Box. They said they’d been waiting there for hours and hours for me to come out. I was like, this is not right.”

Oof! Well it’s almost all over.

We couldn’t be happier for Josh’s recent success in love and life! Snaps all around.
