Former NFL star Donovan McNabb has been sentenced in his DUI case — and the former star quarterback will officially be serving jail time!

The former Philadelphia Eagles player was initially arrested June 28 in Arizona, and he eventually pleaded guilty to driving under the influence after being found with a .17 blood alcohol level, more than double the legal limit.

As part of his guilty plea, McNabb’s punishments include:

-18 days in county jail
-72 days of home detention after jail
-30 hours of community service
-Post-detention counseling
-Unsupervised probation until the completes his sentence
-A $6,342.23 fine

Under three weeks in jail may seem like a pretty light sentence, but what makes it even more tame is that because he was awarded “work release” for the crime, he’ll be spending 18 nights behind bars but be free during the day to work.

This is now McNabb’s second DUI offense in three years; he served one day in jail in 2013 after being convicted of his first DUI.

Here’s hoping Donovan doesn’t have another run-in with the law now that he’s had to learn his lesson twice.
