2015 was a FABULOUS year for Caitlyn Jenner!
On Monday, Cait’s amazing past 12 months got even better when Out Magazine dubbed the athlete as “Newsmaker Of the Year” for their annual Out100 list.
How wonderful! We definitely think the accolade is deserving — Jenner’s coming out as a transgender woman in April 2015 definitely caused a firestorm in the media. Not to mention ever since the Diane Sawyer interview, the 65-year-old has been blowin’ up social media with encouraging LGBT inspired posts while also going to great lengths to document her activism on I Am Cait.
In response to the honor, C.J. gushed:
“I’m so terribly excited about the future. I have so many things to do. I have a place in life.”
Aw! We’re so glad Cait now feels centered and important after years of turmoil!
On November 11, the magazine will host a much anticipated celebration party in New York City — and we have a feeling the Olympian will be there, considering she’s been galavanting around in NYC for the past week or so.
Given all the wonderful work Caitlyn has done thus far, we have no doubt 2016 will be any less inspiring!
