Everyone deserves to be happy!
Chris Martin is currently making the rounds promoting Coldplay‘s upcoming album, A Head Full of Dreams.
While on the road, he stopped by 2DayFM‘s radio show Rove and Sam to chat it up with the hosts.
Normally interviews are a little bit of business and some fun, but Martin decided to give a rare glimpse into his personal life by speaking candidly to the Australian hosts on their radio show!
“I went through some big changes… everyone knows about them.”
The 38-year-old went on to say:
“A few years ago I was in a low place in my life and was feeling kind of down and confused…Some friends gave me a book and a poem and those two things started me off on this whole journey where I just feel so happy to be alive.”
Martin explained how far he’s come since then by stating:
“That may sound a little simple but I suddenly feel very grateful to be alive and if it’s coming across then that’s great to hear.”
This all came after one of the hosts, Rove McManus, said Martin looked as though he was enjoying life.
What do you think of Chris’s comments? Do you fee like he’s in a much happier place now? Sound off in the comments (below)!
