The 35-year-old recently sat down with CBSCharlie Rose to promote her new book commemorating her 20-year modeling career, and talk naturally turned to her relationship with the Patriots quarterback.

Gisele even admitted that she considered dumping Tom when she found out his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan was pregnant with his child in 2007:

“It was a challenging thing because here I am, you know, thinking, I’m dating this guy, we met, and we started dating and everything is great and then this happens. So, then I felt like I didn’t know what to do. It was kind of one of those moments of like, ‘Do I just run away?'”

But of course we all know it turned out well for the couple:

“I think now, eight years later, I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter bonus child.”

The Brazilian beauty also had nothing but good things to say about her man:

“He is a very kind man, he’s kind.”

“I think we’ve been through a few tough times together. I think that’s when you know, who are your friends, and who loves you. My father always says ‘the quality of your life depends on the quality of your relationships.'”

Though she admitted that modeling is not her main focus anymore, the mom of two is happy to have reached this point in her life:

“I’m so grateful to be where I am right now. I feel fulfilled.”
