After Starbucks revealed their seasonal cups without the traditional “Merry Christmas” that was featured in years past, a viral movement rose up contending that the coffee giant was bent on destroying the holiday season!
Well, it looks like Dunkin’ Donuts isn’t scared of Christmas controversy — or do they think they have a design that won’t draw any more ire?
The coffee and donut chain introduced its own cup right in the midst of all the holiday hullabaloo.
Like the Starbucks cup, there’s red and green and white, but this design features holly or mistletoe or possibly pine needles, circling the word “Joy!”
We can’t help but notice it still doesn’t use the word “Christmas.” In fact, it’s also pretty simple and inclusive…
Or will they see it as another blow struck in the “War on Christmas”?
