It might help some!
Back on Halloween, Nicki Minaj met some controversy when she posted a video to Instagram. Some people were offended because the video depicted the Anaconda rapper dressed as a fairy and waving her wand at what appeared to be a person in a wheelchair and commanding them to walk!
Regardless, we can see why certain people would still be offended by her actions even if she was joking around with one of her pals.
However, it seems that Joe Martinez, the co-founder of Freedom 2 Roll — a disability rights activists group — wants to give the 32-year-old a chance to put this controversy behind her.
Martinez has said his organization reached out to Minaj’s people after seeing the video and has made her the offer to come ride a Hovertrax board with his group in the 84th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade. Joe believes that Nicki didn’t mean any harm by the video and wants to put her in a better light with the disabled community.
Joe says he hasn’t heard back from the hitmaker yet, and we’re not sure he will — but it’s certainly a great idea!
What do you think?! Should Nicki just let bygones be bygones or is all of this being blown out of proportion still??
