A short time from now, in a mutated, superhero-filled galaxy far, far away!

The fact that Star Wars: The Force Awakens DESTROYED first day ticket sales is a pretty good indication that it’s going to rule the box office in December.

So it comes as no surprise that every major studio wants to attach the trailers for their blockbusters to the sci-fi epic!

Back in October it was reported that the first trailer for Avengers 2.5 Captain America: Civil War would be attached to the new Star Wars flick. This made a lot of sense as both franchises are owned by Disney.

Well now we’ve learned that we’ll be getting the first teaser trailer for X-Men: Apocalpyse!

Apocalypse co-writer and producer Simon Kinberg revealed to Collider that:

“I can in fact confirm that information. Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”

Though some footage of X-Men has been shown to the lucky fans who attended San Diego Comic-Con and attendees of Disney’s D23 Expo got a peek at some clips from Civil War, this would mark the first time any footage will be seen by the public!

At this point we’re excited for all three films and the fact that we get glimpses of the two superhero flicks before Star Wars just makes us want to see the movie even more.

Does the news of the trailers make YOU more excited for The Force Awakens?!
