This got ugly really quickly!

A small but loud group of protesters confronted Caitlyn Jenner outside of a speech the reality TV star had just given to an LGBT charity in Chicago on Thursday afternoon.

While being flanked by security guards, the I Am Cait star had to walk through a very vocal group of transgender protesters loudly calling out that the TV personality didn’t represent them, and had no idea of their transgender experience.

They yelled things like:

“You are an insult to trans people, you are an insult to women … You have no right to represent us!”

Caitlyn tried to reason with the group, but she was eventually pulled away by her security team after being shouted down with a bull horn.

In a strange twist, sources confirmed with Entertainment Tonight that the I Am Cait cameras WERE rolling during the incident:

“The group was outside when we showed up with Caitlyn. They weren’t as aggressive when we got there like they were when we left. We’ve been rolling all day. We were rolling when we arrived, inside the luncheon while she spoke to the group and when we left to follow Caitlyn to her car. We didn’t know Caitlyn was going to talk back to the protesters,” the source continues. None of it was staged.”

Protesters from the group later took to Facebook in a group called I Ain’t Cait, writing messages of the confrontation including:

“Caitlyn Jenner lives in a mansion and has a net worth of millions of dollars, while the average trans person has a 41 percent chance of experiencing homelessness and a nearly 50 percent chance of living off less than $10k per year … [Cait is] a clueless rich white woman who thinks disenfranchised trans women of color should just pluck themselves up off the street and stop being so lazy. Caitlyn Jenner doesn’t represent trans people!”
