The pop star posted:

What a beautifully written tribute.

As we previously reported, UMG chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge confirmed that Thomas’ life was 1 of 89 that was lost after gunmen opened fire and held hostages at an Eagles of Death Metal concert at Le Bataclan. However, J.B.’s close friend wasn’t the only industry veteran who died in the unfortunate tragedy.

The merchandise manager for EODM, Nick Alexander was killed at the concert venue too.

Australian superstar Kylie Minogue also took to the social media site to send her condolences. She wrote:

How tragic! We can’t even imagine what the families of the victims are currently going through.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the recent events in Paris.
