Ireland’s First Same Sex Marriage Ceremony Is As Adorable As It Is Quaint

These are the two happiest blokes in all of the Emerald Isle!

Ireland made history back in May when it became the first country to vote to allow same sex couples to get married.

And while there were a few legal setbacks between then and now, the nation’s first gay wedding finally took place on Tuesday in Clonmel.

Cormac Gollogly and Richard Dowling had been together 12 years prior to getting hitched, and we couldn’t be happier for them right now!

The ceremony may have been a little quaint, but we’re sure being acknowledged as a legitimate couple for the first time in the eyes of the law more than made up for it.
