French Police Confirm Mastermind Behind Paris Attacks Killed In Raids

paris attacks mastermind confirmed dead

The alleged mastermind behind the terrible attacks in Paris that left 129 people dead and 352 injured has been confirmed as deceased.

On Wednesday French Police conducted a raid in order to track down the terrorist attackers — specifically Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a Belgian ISIS member who was reportedly behind the attacks.

After the raid — which left two people dead and eight detained — Paris prosecutor Fran├â┬ºois Molins could not confirm Abaaoud’s death, though he did state that the Belgian was NOT taken into custody.

Well French prosecutors have now declared that Abaaoud was indeed killed in the raid. Apparently he was too bullet riddled to be identified and was ultimately confirmed by his fingerprints.

The French media has also identified the woman who detonated herself with a suicide belt during the raid as Hasna Aitboulahcen — one of Abaaoud’s cousins.

Thankfully, five officers were only “lightly wounded” during the operation on Wednesday — however, a police dog was killed.

Now the hunt continues for Salah Abdeslam, one of the men linked to Friday’s attacks, as he’s still on the run.

We can’t imagine how difficult all of this is for the people of France and anyone affected but our hearts are with you during this extremely trying time.
