On Sunday, it was revealed that Charlie Sheen is planning on selling the Beverly Hills house he purchased for his ex Brooke Mueller and their 6-year-old twins.
However, it’s said that ALL of the funds from the sale will go directly to the A-lister’s little ones. Well that’s good to hear.
A source explained:
“Charlie only has one house. The other two houses were each bought as a trust for his kids, one for Sam and Lola and the other for Bob and Max, and are controlled by their mothers [Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, respectively]. If the houses are sold, the money goes right to his kids.”
We have a feeling this impending sale has something to do with protecting his children from extortionists — as he revealed on the Today show that he’s previously spent around $10 million in hush money to cover up his HIV-positive status. Yikes!
In case you forgot, Martin Sheen‘s son tied the knot with Miz Mueller back in 2008 but put an end to their marriage in 2011 after a rough couple of years. Still, it seems that the twosome now have an amicable relationship.
The source continued:
“Charlie has been extremely generous to his kids and always has taken care of them. He still sees them and wants to have a strong relationship with them. He always puts his kids first now. So the houses don’t have anything to do with the extortion.”
Aww! That’s sweet.
Here’s hoping the Red Dawn heartthrob will be able to protect his little ones from future legal and financial trouble. Fingers crossed!
