Superman WILL Appear On The Supergirl TV Show — But Not In The Way You Might Think!

Well this is an interesting decision!

Supergirl has not been the hit CBS hoped, and it seems like the show is looking to boost the ratings with the power of the Man of Steel!

TV Line recently learned that the comic book series will finally be bringing in Superman, in what could end up being a recurring role in the show!

But it may not be the Superman you think.

Henry Cavill — who plays Supes in Man of Steel as well as the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice — will NOT be making an appearance.

Instead, the show is reportedly looking to cast a 13-year-old actor who has “future leading man looks” to play a young Clark Kent.

This obviously means that we’re going to see Kal-El — Superman’s Kryptonian name — in some flashbacks as Kara/Supergirl, played by Melissa Benoist, is in her 20s and Superman is already saving the world at this point!

We’ve already seen Superman in some very quick shadowy shots — like the one below — but hopefully this means the show is open to the idea of adding the Last Son of Krypton into the mix in a larger capacity!

Are you on board with adding the big blue boy scout to the show?
