Yay. She’s back.
It’s been about a month since we last heard from Sarah Palin, so the former Republican Vice Presidential candidate thought now would be the perfect time to give us an update on everything going on in her life.
2015 was one of the Alaskan’s more difficult years — having a cancer scare while getting fired from FOX News simultaneously — but we’re happy to hear that she’s healthy once again; even if we don’t agree with her politically.
In a recent interview with CBN News, Sarah actually gives daughter Bristol Palin the credit for finding her melanoma, saying:
“‘Mom, you need to go into the doctor and get that thing checked.’ [Bristol] insisted and I resisted, so I finally went in to a doctor and got something checked, came back, biopsy ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ a cancer.
A surgeon dug it out and everything was okay. In the grand scheme of things, especially compared to other people going through great challenges, it was not a big deal. All this stuff within a few weeks’ time, it was one of those years. It’s like, ‘Okay God, what are you preparing us for this time?'”
But while her health may be back in peak condition, the 51-year-old politician is still coping with her surprise firing:
“Some things happened that I haven’t talked about publicly. Things like getting canned from a job I really liked, sort of out of the blue, because I called somebody out. Next morning I got word, ‘Oh, we no longer need you anymore.’ Yeah, it was a shock, but more power to Fox News. I have a great relationship with them. It was just kind of a little bit of a shocker of knowing that the haters are going to love this one.”
We have to say, we did quite enjoy that one.
“I’m so thankful that he’s running. He’s obviously not bought and sold in the traditional sense in politics because he’s self-funding his campaign. He’s not going to do them any favors. That’s part of that status quo that’s got to go.
[He] calls it like it he sees it. To me that’s refreshing. He’s a fighter, a competitor. We need a fighter that can put our nation first.”
We don’t think having Sarah Palin as an endorsement is such a strong selling point, Don.
Still, glad to hear she’s healthy!
Now that we’re all caught up with Sarah, what do U see next in everyone’s favorite pundit’s future??
