The mass shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, CA on Wednesday that claimed the lives of 14 people was one of the worst in recent memory.
But was it an act of terrorism?
In a new statement, President Barack Obama said it “was possible this was terrorist-related” but stressed the FBI investigation has just begun. He stated bluntly:
“We don’t know why they did it. We don’t know the extent of their plans. We don’t know their motivations.”
He also allowed the possibility that the shooting was “workplace-related” since one of the slain suspects was a former Health Department employee.
