The 29-year-old Transformers actress totally gets what it’s like returning to work after giving birth:

“It’s tough. You feel like a lot of mother’s guilt, having to leave [your child] all the time and then at a certain point, I had to just release that and go, ‘There are my kids, these souls came through me for a reason, they’re gonna be bonded to me no matter what and this is a part of life. I have a job, I have to have a job.'”

The single mom added:

“So I’m doing better with it. But it’s hard because you feel like that’s where you’re supposed to be and you’re very torn, constantly.”

As for Jess Zooey, this is the 35-year-old’s first time back on set since giving birth to her first child, Elsie Otter Pechenik. Her rep announced she had welcomed her baby girl and secretly married Jacob Pechenick back in August.

The glowing El Lay native gushed about being a new mom, and admitted she was somewhat torn about leaving little Elsie:

“When you’re holding your baby, you’re like, ‘I don’t wanna go to work├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥this is like the best thing ever,’ but it’s nice, you know, I think, having a little girl, she knows her mommy works and I think that’s a good thing.”

We’re happy to have her back!
