Way to be supportive of your friend’s son…
Burt Reynolds may be a Hollywood icon, but that doesn’t mean he’s automatically sensitive towards his fellow stars’ troubles.
While promoting his new autobiography, But Enough About Me, on British talk show Loose Women Tuesday, the 79-year-old made things awkward when he was asked about his thoughts on Charlie Sheen‘s HIV-status reveal.
In fact, after host Ruth Langsford asked if she felt sorry for the Two and a Half Men star, Burt very bluntly shared his controversial thoughts on the matter, saying:
“‘For Charlie, no, he deserves it. He misbehaved very badly.”
No one “deserves” HIV, Burt…
Luckily, the audience and cohosts were as baffled as we were, so it’s nice to know there are still decent people out there!
Ch-ch-check out Burt Reynolds’ distasteful stance on Charlie Sheen’s health (below)!!!
