Remember when you were a kid and found out Santa wasn’t real? This is SO MUCH WORSE!
Guinness is the famous Irish dry stout that was first brewed in Dublin — and is pretty much the national dish of Ireland.
But it turns out that the beer is actually made in Canada — and one brewski enthusiast is so upset about it, he’s actually SUING Guinness!
Kieran O’Hara, a beer drinker from Massachusetts, is claiming Guinness is getting away with false advertising with a label on Guinness Extra Stout that misleads drinkers to think it’s an authentic Irish beer!
What people don’t realize (possibly because they’re too busy doing Irish car bombs) is that there is a TINY disclosure on the back saying it’s brewed in Canada! Blasphemy!
O’Hara wants to serve justice to those beer drinkers who, like himself, thought they were downing an actual Irish beverage — so he’s taking the beer titan to court!
Will he prevail? Only time will tell!
Cheers to you, Kieran! May your super Irish sounding name be the guiding light to justice — which is, like Guinness, a dish best served cold.
