According to reports, the book titan will try out selling alcohol at select locations from the store’s cafes to see if customers will enjoy a little buzz with their books. It’s also expected that menu items will change to better pairings with alcohol.

The first bookstore that will serve as a test location will be in New Hartford, Connecticut.

We can totally see Barnes and Noble becoming the newest location for hipster bookworms to enjoy a cold one on a Saturday night — who needs a noisy bar when you can enjoy that classic bookstore chain ambiance?

Do YOU think Barnes and Noble’s newest menu options will be a hit?
