Meek Mill’s ‘I’ma Put A Gun In Ya’ Lyric Reportedly Isn’t About Drake… Or Anyone Else In Particular!

Drake and Meek Mill

Don’t worry, Meek Mill doesn’t have plans to actually shoot Drake… Phew!

ICYMI: The drama began when Nicki Minaj‘s beau threw shade at Champagne Papi for supposedly not writing his own songs. The beef escalated when the industry pros exchanged SEVERAL diss tracks about each other.

And as we reported earlier today, the 28-year-old rapper dropped a snippet of his latest track Dreamchasers 4 which seemed targeted at his nemesis Drizzy D.

Everyone thought for sure the feud was back on when the Meek released his new lyrics:

“When I was saying sh*t about the rhymes you ain’t wrote/ I can’t wait until we run into ya/ I’ma put a gun in ya.”

Sounds awfully suspicious to us…

But a source has come forward telling TMZ that Meek is definitely not referring to Drizzy in the new song — in fact, the insider is saying it’s not about anyone in particular! They’re just lyrics!

What a relief!

We guess this can be true, as we would certainly hope every aggressive lyric ever written didn’t have an actual target.

Regardless, we’re sure Meek is trying to keep his image clean… at least until his probation violation case is settled.

Can’t we all just get along?? And maybe not write lyrics threatening to shoot anyone??

Let us know what U think of Meek’s new lyric, Perezcious readers!
