Bill Cosby has officially been charged.
On Wednesday, the scandalized star was arraigned in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania for one charge of aggravated indecent assault.
Andrea Constand pressed the criminal charge against the actor, claiming he drugged and sexually assaulted her at his Philadelphia home back in 2004.
At the courthouse, the 78-year-old did not enter a plea, and the judge set bail at $1 million and required him to hand over his passport.
After appearing in court, the comedian was taken to a local police station, where he was booked and released after posting 10% of his bail.
His preliminary hearing has been set for January 14.
It will be interesting to see how the legal proceedings play out.
