Don’t count The Bride out just yet!
Uma Thurman kicked ass and broke hearts (some literally) when she last played Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill over 10 years ago!
And even though he’s been non committal about bringing vengeful heroine back to the big screen, Quentin Tarantino said that Kill Bill 3 could still very well happen!
Speaking to Variety, the Hateful Eight director said he “wouldn’t be surprised” if The Bride came back one last time, explaining:
“I am talking to Uma about it just a little bit. Some of the stuff that I’d written that never made it into the movie that maybe I could use.”
The filmmaker initially wasn’t into the idea of writing a third installment, noting:
“I felt I said what I had to say.”
But now that the years have gone by, Tarantino admits he’s interested in catching up with the surviving characters like Sofie Fatale and Elle Driver!
The director recently revealed he wants to make just two more films, for a total of 10 over his lifetime.
We would LOVE it if Tarantino wrote one more “literary” script for his ninth film — then concluded his directorial filmography with Kill Bill 3!
Check out the interview (below) to see what he had to say!
