Not exactly according to plan.
Eitam Lachover is an Israeli reporter for Channel 1 news and was doing a segment to help promote a body armor company when things went horrible wrong.
Lachover met with Yaniv Montakyo, the vice president of FMS Enterprises — the company that manufactures the body armor — to test out a “knife-proof” vest.
As Eitam put the vest on, Montakyo pulled out a large knife and proceeded to turn the journalist around and stab him several times.
Unfortunately for the reporter, the third stab missed the armor part of the armor and injured him. Thankfully the victim took to Twitter to say that he was fine and only suffered:
“Superficial stab wounds, had some stitches and was released back home.”
Mr Montakyo was later asked about the incident and said he accidentally stabbed the journalist in a part of the vest that less protective material, before trying to save face by saying an earlier attempt was successful. Suuuuure, LOLz!
